Traditionally vocational rehabilitation such as career redirection, return to work planning and employer engagement is often seen as a later intervention for insurers and solicitors who are employing case managers to support claimants following injury or illness.
Research and evidence shows, however, that having meaningful work conversations and intervening with vocational rehabilitation at an early stage can support the whole rehabilitation process.
Working To Wellbeing has designed a specialist Vocational Rehabilitation Coaching approach for the case management sector. Their programmes enable people to retain a working mindset and to have work conversations at an early stage alongside other rehabilitation interventions that clients may be receiving.
Our Vocational Rehabilitation Coaching programmes provide support for clients to maintain a working mindset and improve their workability whilst recovering from illness or injury. Our vocational rehabilitation specialists integrate with the client’s MDT team to facilitate a return to work when ready.
Exploration of workability, symptom experience and job role or career prospects. Providing work rehabilitation recommendations for the MDT with the goal of retaining a work mindset.
